I want so badly to get into UCSD[University of California in San Diego], specifically Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I want to be a marine biologist. I'm a freshman now, and I know that freshman grades don't really count at UCSD, only sophomore and junior grades. I go to a private school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and get good grades. I had only 2 B's last semester, but they were in Pre AP classes. I plan on taking all the AP classes I can the rest of my high school year. Here's my question: What classes would you recommend I take in order to get into UCSD and what grades? Also, do you think I still have a pretty good chance even though I don't live in California? I'm planning on taking two science classes a year

Different Universities have different requirement. the one that you like is science, i suggest, get a science course and study hard. Get As. Don't get B. It's disqualifying. Hope this will help you. PS: if you are non californian resident, expensive. I tried at UC Berkley, $70,000 for foreigners and non californian resident
